Israel continues aggressions against south Lebanon
Lebanese security sources said on Tuesday that the Israeli warplanes continued to carry out provocative sorties in the airspace over south Lebanon and the western Bekaa up to the capital, Beirut, and its suburbs.
Lebanese security sources said the raiding Israeli planes dropped missiles over the areas of Shawkin, al-Sawannah and Zouter West.
The sources added that anti-aircraft guns of the Lebanese Army and resistance fired on the raiding Israeli planes.
Meanwhile Lebanese security forces also said the Israeli heavy artillery on Tuesday morning bombarded the surroundings of Shawkin Mifdoun, al-Sawannah, Majdal Soloum towns as well as the areas of al-Zahrani river and al-Qiseyeh valley.
The Israeli forces also fired machine-guns against the neighboring woods of Zibqin town in the western sector of the zone, the Lebanese sources added. They continued that an Israeli gunship fired shots against al-Mansouri town in Tyre area.
The security sources added that about 40 Katyusha rockets late Monday night fell over the Israeli military positions deep inside the occupied zone.
In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said that one of its groups on Tuesday attacked, using rockets, an Israeli position in Burket Risha, deep in the occupied strip of south Lebanon.
Simultaneously, another group attacked Israeli military moves in the surroundings of the hostile position of Balat.
The resistance said its men inflicted accurate hits in the two attacks among the Israeli forces. This attack came in retaliation against the Israeli attacks which targeted innocent civilians on Monday evening especially in al-Mansouri district in south Lebanon.
