Moroccan women to moderate conferences in Canada
Several Moroccan women having scored outstanding performance in their field of activity will moderate cultural activities and political debates in Montreal, Canada, from May 28 through June 3.
The event is meant to exchange ideas and experiments in women's related matters, to inform the Canadian public about women's movements in Morocco and their role at political, social, economic and cultural levels, said Morocco's consul general in Montreal, Mrs Farida Jaidi.
It will also help establish cooperation ties between Moroccan and Canadian women's associations, researchers and entrepreneurs for the promotion of the Moroccan women.
The event features cultural and artistic activities and two round tables, on democratic changes and sustained development and on the role of Moroccan women's associations in promoting entrepreneurship.
