Kuwait urges establishment of international investment market

The international investment forum which concludes its works today in Kuwait looks to setting up integrated programs for the creation and promotion of projects and ideas to investors at the local, regional and international headquarters.

This international market will be in Kuwait, which seeks to restore Kuwait's position as a financial center in the area, especially after this position was affected by the events in Kuwait due to Iraq's invasion.

Ali El-Shamali, head of the organizing committee of the forum, said the market will include the direct marketing to investors and to international investment companies, as well as marketing through special workshops in the projects and through the Internet, in addition to the direct finance activity for the projects through this forum in its coming sessions.
