More than one ton of chira sized in northern Morocco

The customs services of the northern town of Nador have seized recently in one single operation some 1,500 kgs of cannabis extract, locally known as chira.

The banned substance was concealed in a Mercedes car. The traffickers took to their heels when they were intercepted by the customs agents, leaving behind the drug and the car.
