Trafic in Moroccan ports on the rise, equipment department says

Overall trafic in Moroccan ports reached 4.3 million tons end of Jan. 2000, an increase of 1.8 percent compared to the same period last year, the equipment department said adding that imports, on the rise 4.2%, accounted for 52.4% of total trafic while exports slowed down 0.6%.

In its latest newsletter the department said Fish products transitting via ODEP run harbor-auctions totalled 5,788 tons for a total value of 44 million dhs.
