Arab union for insurance to meet in Abu Dhabi in March

The Arab general union for insurance will convene its 23rd conference in Abu Dhabi city on March 27-30 under the slogan "Arab insurance and challenges of the 21st century."

Abd El-Khalek Raouf, secretary general of the union, said the conference is considered the largest Arab insurance assembly, adding that the conference will discuss several main points, among which are the regional insurance bloc to confront the rights of GATT and the Arab insurance markets and their confrontation of the developments in the coming century in the shadow of the challenges of the 21st century.

The conference's program will include two workshops concerning some challenges of the coming stage which confront the Arab insurance market and the future of confronting the challenges in the insurance industry in the Arab union.
