European Union hails the partnership relations with Tunis

A statement issued by the European commissariat in Cairo yesterday hailed the partnership relations among the European Union and North African countries especially Tunis which achieved a progress in many economic, political, social and cultural fields.

The statement also hailed the political reforms made by Tunisian president Zein El-Abidin Bin Ali and his national reconciliation through developing the parliamentary system of the presidential elections and for giving the opposition political parties the effective participation in this system.
