Sudanese, Iranian economic relations reviewed

Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi on Tuesday discussed with Sudanese Foreign Ministry secretary Hassan Abidin discussed economic and cooperation relations between the two countries.

The Iranian minister indicated the common elements and rapprochement between the two peoples, adding that, "There are other numerous elements which encourage the expansion of relations between Tehran and Khartoum."

For his part, the Sudanese Foreign Ministry secretary expressed his country's desire to expand all relations with Iran, especially in the economic field.

Abadin is on a visit to Tehran to take part in the meeting of the joint political committee between Iran and Sudan, which started its work on Monday in Tehran.
