Message from Ben Ali to Gaddafi

Colonel Moammar Gaddafi of Libya received a message from Tunisian President Zein El-Abidin Ben Ali that tackles the regional and international developments.

The message was delivered by Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs Habib Ben Yahia who is currently visiting Tripoli.

A joint statement issued by the committee's meetings asserted the importance of overcoming the obstacles confronting the Arab Maghreb Union and revitalizing this union's corporations as well as developing joint Arab cooperation.

The statement referred to importance of cooperation between Tunisia and Libya to achieve the development projects with countries of the Coast and Sahara Assembly and rest of the African countries in addition to vitalizing the discussion between the Arab Moroccan union and the European union.
