Originally published

King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, addressed a message to Moroccans to perform this year's pilgrimage in Islam's holy shrines in Saudi Arabia.

The message, read out by endowment and Islamic affairs minister Abdelkebir Alaoui M'Daghri at the Rabat airport, recalled the significance of pilgrimage as one of Islam's pillars.

The king urged the Moroccan pilgrims to be a model of righteousness, tolerance, flexibility, modesty, patience and clemency.

Over two million Muslims from all over the world flock every year to Saudi Arabia to perform pilgrimage.
