Bulgarian speaker meets officials in Agadir
The speaker of the Bulgarian Parliament, Yordan Sokolov, conferred with local officials of the Agadir region (southwestern Morocco) on consolidation of friendship and cooperation ties between Morocco and Bulgaria.
The Bulgarian official who is paying this Feb.1-5 an official visit to Morocco leading a delegation of 11 representatives, heard explanations on the region's economic, social and cultural potentials.
The Bulgarian delegation is expected this Monday in Rabat for talks with Prime Minister Abderrahmane Youssoufi and speakers of the two houses of the parliamant, Abdelouahed Radi and Mohamed Jalal Essaid.
Morocco and Bulgaria signed in December an agricultural cooperation agreement during the Bulgarian trade and tourism minister's visit to Morocco. A free-trade area is scheduled to be set up.
