Mubarak to launch series of meetings with Ministers of production and services

President Mubarak will hold a series of meetings as of next week.

The meetings, spanning a period of one month will be held with all ministers of production and services sector in a bid to maintain integration among the various sectors.

The meetings which will be attended by Prime Minister Atef Ebeid aim at achieving the following:

First: Achieving integration in implementing of planned projects in order to achieve maximum benefit of these projects.

Second: Laying emphasis on finalizing projects under construction in order to achieve maximum revenue of these projects which would guarantee financing of future projects.

Third: Rationalizing spending with the aim of keeping the budget deficit in the limits already achieved over the economic and financial reform program.

Fourth: Providing appropriations needed for finishing projects under construction during the current and next year's budgets.

Fifth: Pursuing implementation of mega projects such as Toshka and East Port Said, and giving them priority.
