African tour for Moroccan 2006 World Cup committee
Delegate chairman of the Moroccan committee for the promotion of Morocco's bid to host the 2006 World Cup football finals, Driss Benhima, arrived Sunday in Harare, the first leg of his second African tour meant to drum up support of continental institutions.
Local football authorities said the Moroccan bid is legitimate because it was Africa's turn to host the event and also because the kingdom was the first African country to apply for the honor.
Benhima and party might be received this Monday by Zimbabwe president Robert Mugabe.
