Bahraini emir to visit Qatar

Bahraini Emir Shaikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa will visit Qatar tomorrow at the invitation of Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani to discuss "existing ties between both countries and their peoples, latest developments in the Gulf and Arab arenas and topics of mutual interest," Gulf News Agency reported.

This comes following a recent visit to Bahrain by the Qatari ruler, during which the two Gulf states agreed to setting up joint committees and exchanging ambassadors. The two sides are witnessing improved relations after tensions over a border dispute that is before the International Court of Justice.
