Libya denounced yesterday the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mauritania and Israel on the ambassadors' level, saying that this is a blow directed to the Maghreb and the Arab states as a whole.

Libya seeks registration of archaeological relics
According to Mohamed Chakchouki, the director of general administration, an agreement will soon be concluded with an Italian mission specialized in the retrieval and preservation of relics to rehabilitate the Marcus Aurilius arch, among other national heritage pieces in the ancient city of Tripoli.

Libya: Sudan isn't in Central America
Gomaa El-Ghazani, the manager of the Libyan follow-up bureau, the Libyan ambassador to Cairo, and the former premier, criticized yesterday the negative US stance toward the Egyptian - Libyan initiative for solving the Sudanese political crisis, saying that the USA hasn't the right to intervene in Sudanese affairs, especially as Sudan isn't a state in Central America near its borders, consequently, the USA isn't concerned in the Sudanese question.
