Israeli Radio said on Friday that several steps and decisions were adopted between Israel and Mauritania with the objective of strengthening bilateral relations.

Israeli Radio added that visits by Israeli officials will be made soon to Nouakchott, and economic and agricultural delegations will be exchanged.

The radio added that the speaker of parliament in Mauritania, the director general of the Ministry of the Interior in Mauritania and the Mauritanian football team will shortly arrive in Israel.

Israeli Radio continued that after the Israeli ambassador on Thursday submitted his credentials to the president of Mauritania, the ambassador of Mauritania will shortly arrive in Israel to start new relations between the two sides.
