Morocco wins two bronze medals in Arab chess championships

Morocco won two bronze medals in the 15th Arab chess championships, held Nov. 19-30 in Aden, Yemen.
The medals were gleaned by Mohamed Tissir (men) and Hind Bahij (women).
The title went to Syrian champ Imad Hakki for men and Lebanese Kanarik Mirdian for women.
Some 46 champs from Morocco, Algeria, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Yemen, Egypt, Syria, Tunisia, Sudan, Iraq and Lebanon participated in the championships.
Morocco's international master, Hicham Hamdouchi, did not participate in the event.
