International fair for university books in Libya

The international fair for university books was opened yesterday in Benghazi, Libya, in which 180 publishing houses from Libya and Arab and foreign countries --among which are Egypt, Syria, and Jordan-- are participating.
The fair, which is being held at Khar Younis University in Benghazi, will last for a week, after which it will move to El-Fateh University in Tripoli.
The fair includes cultural and scientific university books and is organized by the trusteeship of the general Libyan public committee for education and the vocational formation aimed at providing scientific and cultural references for the students and professors at low prices.
The event will also feature poetic and technical evenings and symposiums.
