Kuwaiti: June 2000 the last date for solving Bedouin nationality problem

The Kuwaiti government decided on a new date to end the residency problems of non-specified nationality Bedouins on June 27, as the government had previously specified another date, but the case is not yet solved.
The cabinet said the government now has information about the real identities of Bedouins who allege not to have any other nationality but Kuwaiti and that they will receive penalties unless they correct their positions before June 27.
The government promised Bedouins who reveal documents proving their original citizenship facilities like granting residency and work licenses.
