Tunisian minister of culture to visit Egypt on Monday

Tunisian Minister of Culture Abdelbaki Hermassi is to start a five-day visit to Egypt on Monday, during which he will hold talks with Egyptian Minister of Culture Farouk Honsi on enhancing cultural relations between Egypt and Tunisia.

Hermassi will also hold talks with a number of Egyptian cultural figures, tackling Arab cultural cooperation, especially between Tunis and Egypt, in addition to the horizons of upgrading it to serve cultural identity and face the challenges of globalization.

The minister will be accompanied by high-ranking officials from different cultural activities in Tunis.

There is a protocol for cultural cooperation between Egypt and Tunisia, as well as effective Egyptian participation in all Tunisian cultural festivals.
