Exhibition for Egyptian products in Argentina next May

Abdul Shara, the secretary general of the Union of Egyptian Trade Chambers said that his union and the union of industrial and trade chambers in Argentina agreed to establish an exhibition for Egyptian products in the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires, in addition to organizing a conference concerning investment opportunities in major projects in Egypt during the coming May.

He noted that a cooperation protocol between the Egyptian cooperation union and the general economic confederation in Argentina was signed recently during a visit to Argentina, calling for the two sides to exchange experiences, develop collaborations and enhance their role in economic development as well as increasing cooperation between the two countries.

The volume of commercial exchange between Egypt and Argentina reached $460 million as of last week.

Egyptian exports to Argentina reached $3.7 million, while imports from Argentina reached $456.3 million.
