Algerian sources said that the Algerian Parliament responded positively to the idea of holding direct dialogue with the European Parliament to study the possibility of finding means of cooperation to help ending the bloody situation in Algeria.

The sources confirmed that this response from the Algerian Parliament is concurrent with its rejection of a European resolution last September 18 to sending a fact-finding committee in Algeria.

Sources in the European Parliament said that it received a letter from the Speaker of the Algerian Parliament, Abdel Qader Bin Saleh, in which he expressed satisfaction with the recent European description and vision of the situation in Algeria which is much better than before.

The letter expressed Algeria's satisfaction with the European Parliament's recognition of the principle of non-intervention in the internal affairs of Algeria.
