7 killed, 70 arrested in Israeli attack on Khan Younis

The death toll today mounted to seven Palestinians in the ongoing Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis. Medical sources said.
The sources added that the Mohammed Abu Mustaffa died of his serious wounds when Israeli tank shelled a house in al-Fukhari town resulted in killing three citizens and wounding others.
In the meantime, hospital sources reported that three Palestinians were also killed when Israeli warplane targeted a civil car near al-Fukhari municipality building east Khan Younis city. Ambulances could not manage to evacuate the victims due to heavy bombardment.
Israeli occupation forces arrested 70 Palestinians in south Khan Younis city.
He added that the Israeli occupation troops swept into al-Fukhari town, south Khan Younis city, conducted a wide search campaign into citizens' houses and arrested 70 citizens, including the Mayor of al-Fukhari municipality.
