Scores of Palestinians killed, arrested by Israeli soldiers

Israeli occupation forces killed today dawn two Palestinians and wounded three others in the West Bank city of Nablus, medical sources said.

They told WAFA that Basel Abu Srayes 40, was hit with shrapnel of an Israeli missile and was killed on the spot in the old city, while the aging Abed Shaker al-Wazeer 70, was killed when Israeli soldiers shot him dead near his house in Ksheika street in the city.

At least twenty Palestinians were arrested today by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank city of Hebron, witnesses said.

They told WAFA that Israeli soldiers stormed, amid intensive fire shooting, the city and its nearby villages and camps and arrested 17 Palestinians, leading them into an unknown location.

In the Gaza Strip Israeli soldiers stormed Johr al-Deek area, launched a search campaign and arrested scores of citizens, leading them into an unknown spot, locals said.

Meantime, a photographer working for the European News Agency was wounded today afternoon by Israeli gunfire in the West Bank city of Nablus, medical sources said. They added that Alaa Bdarnah was hit with four rubber coated bullets in the neck and the back in spite of wearing a blazer for journalists and carries a camera that indicates the nature of his work.
