Israeli campaign of house demolishing in Jerusalem
Politics, 9/14/2007

Israeli bulldozers launched this week a wide scale campaign of house demolishing north Jerusalem, locals said.

Local sources in the city revealed that Israeli bulldozers Tuesday morning supported by military jeeps and police, started flattening houses in the neighborhoods of Anata al-Fheidat neighborhood, close to the Separation Wall.

Israeli authorities handed inhabitants notifications to vacate their hoses in preparing for destruction, under pretext of being close to the Wall.

That same day, the Israeli occupation forces wounded seven Palestinians, including children in the West Bank city of Jenin, medical sources said.

They added that the Israeli ongoing offensive on Jenin refugee camp resulted in injuring seven, including children when Israeli soldiers stormed the camp and began opening fire and gas grenades towards residents.

Also, four Palestinian were wounded on Tuesday when Israeli artillery bombarded a house in the north of the Gaza Strip, witnesses said.
