Suicide bomber in Karbala identified to be Sudanese

Based on investigations, a Sudanese national was behind the Saturday morning blast in Karbala, Iraq, said an official in Karbala, Iraq, on Saturday.
"The individual identified to have committed the suicide attack in Karbala was a Sudanese national," said an official on condition of anonymity.
The man in a car blew himself up outside a garage, 150 meters from Imam Hossein's (AS) holy shrine, around 10:30 am Saturday.
Based on reports available, the car bombing killed 36 and injured 168 others.
Hospital sources report 25 cases of operation on the injured, including women and children, since Saturday morning.
