Anti-Israel protests continue in Belgium
Lebanon-Israel, Politics, 7/24/2006
Protest demonstrations and gatherings against the Israeli aggression against Lebanon are held nearly every day in some parts of the Belgian capital.
Today, Lebanese, Arab and Belgian protesters assembled in front of the EU headquarters calling for an immediate halt to the Israeli aggression and terrorism in Lebanon.
They waived Lebanese flags and denounced the killing of many children due to the Israeli bombardment.
On Sunday, protesters gathered in the Anderlecht suburb of Brussels and condemned the international silence towards the US backed Israeli military attacks against the small Arab country.
On Saturday night, hundreds of peace activists held a rally in front of the Justice Palace of Brussels denouncing the Israeli terrorism against Lebanon.
Anti-Israeli demonstrations are expected to continue in Belgium in the coming days.
