5 Palestinians killed in Israeli raids

Four Palestinians were killed in an Israeli air raid on the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanoun, while a fifth was killed in East of Gaza, witnesses and medical sources said.

Witnesses affirmed that an Israeli aircraft fired a missile on a group of people in the town, killing four of them and wounding others.

Earlier, a 22-year-old man was killed by an Israeli artillery shell in the eastern Gaza Strip neighborhood. Five were also wounded in the shelling.

Meanwhile, a 21-year-old Palestinian died of wounds he sustained today when Israeli tanks and aircraft bombarded the northern parts of the Gaza Strip.

The death toll of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip climbed today to ten citizens.

Meantime, Israeli occupation forces razed today vast areas of agricultural land east of Gaza City. Witnesses said that Israeli bulldozers, backed by tanks, thrust into Shajaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza, and uprooted tens of olive and citrus trees amid intensive fire.

They added that several families left their houses to avoid the intensive and indiscriminate gunshots.
