Iran's judiciary chief: Israeli atrocities are state terrorism

Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi on Monday expressed concern about human tragedy in the occupied territories of Palestine perpetrated by the occupying regime of Israel.

He said that the Zionist regime has embarked on committing inhuman atrocities against the Palestinians by launching a full scale military operation, laying siege on Palestinian residential areas, blocking transport of food and medical supplies to them.

Ayatollah Shahroudi criticized the western-style democracy as supporter of the murderers and those trampling upon the human rights of Palestinians.

"The so-called advocates of democracy and human rights are supporters of the murderers and Israeli state terrorism," he said.

He called on the Islamic states to rush to the help of Palestinians by providing them food and medical supplies and urged international organizations to condemn Israeli military operations against Palestinian civilians.
