20 Iraqis, two American soldiers killed in new attacks

Several parts of Iraq witnessed new attacks and explosions in the past hours leaving two US soldiers and 20 Iraqis killed, most of them are members in the police force, while other five bodies were found in different areas in Baghdad.
In al-Taremeyah area north of Baghdad, 8 members of the police forces were killed in an ambush implanted by gunmen against a bus in that area. Four members in the Iraqi police and other three were injured in a booby trapped car explosion in al-Doura area, south of Baghdad.
In Baqouba, seven Iraqis were killed in separate attacks in various parts of the city situated northeast of Baghdad.
In Karkouk, one officer was killed working as an official in the unemployment fighting branch office together with his wife by the bullets of unidentified gunmen. Also four police members were injured in a bomb explosion.
In another development, the Iraqi security forces found five bodies of unidentified nationality with bound hands and eyes in various areas in Baghdad. Four bodies were found in al-Ghazaleyeh area near Um al- Qurra mosque west of Baghdad and a fifth body was found in al-Sader city.
For its part, the American army announced the killing of two of its soldiers while they were in what it called a "logistic operation" in Tel-Afer area near Musil, north of Iraq.
In Islam Abad, the Pakistani foreign ministry said that 11 Pakistani hostages who were kidnapped in Iraq earlier this month were released on Monday.
