Egyptian government LE250 miilion to fight water pollution

The Egyptian government allocated LE250 million to purge canals and the sewage system, and fight River Nile pollution.
Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mahmoud Abu Zeid said that 33 factories are now operating according to environmental standards set by the ministry.
He said that fighting River Nile pollution is a priority on the government's agenda.
Abu Zeid said the government has allotted LE10 billion for this purpose over the coming 12 years.
