3 Iraqi members of the Consitution writing commitee killed

Iraq had witnessed during the past 24 days bloody attacks in its various parts that resulted in killing 36 Iraqis including three Sunni members of the committee working on drafting the news constitution.

Gunmen assassinated in the downtown of Baghdad on Tuesday three members of the Arab Sunnis that are in the committee drafting the new Iraqi constitution. Sources in the Iraqi ministry of the interior said that that gunmen opened fire at a car carrying Mujbil al-Sheikh Issa, Damin Hussein Elewi and Aziz Ibrahim as they were leaving a restaurant in al-Karradeh area in the downtown of Baghdad and they were killed immediately.

In another attack, some 13 Iraqis were killed including 10 employees in a base for the American forces when gunmen opened fire at a bus carrying them between al-Khales and Baouba in the north of Baghdad while other three were killed in a traffic accident resulted from the same attack.

In Musil in the north of Iraq, gunmen killed seven Iraqi police members including three officers in Tuesday's series of attacks. Other ten Iraqis were killed in various attacks carried out by gunmen in the cities of TelAfer, Sameraa, Balad, al-Ishaqi, Beji, Karkouk, Tikrit and Baqouba.
