The Iraqi ministry of defense said that the police found on Thursday six unidentified bodies for men wearing civil costumes in Akashat area in al-Qaem, 450 km to the west of Baghdad.

The ministry denied that 22 members of the Iraqi army were kidnapped in al-Qaem, according to an Iraqi military source on Wednesday.

Meantime, the police said in al-Kout city that two Iraqis were injured in a bomb explosion that targeted on Wednesday evening the building of the Organization Of Islamic Work in the city.

Sources in the Iraqi police and army forces announced the killing of 6 Iraqis and injuring of five Iraqi soldiers in different incidents as well as finding two bodies for two men in military uniform.

In a new operation that targeted the oil pipelines, an Iraqi oil official said that a new explosion on Wednesday took place in the northern oil pipelines which transport Iraqi oil exports to Turkey.

To the north of these areas in Tel Afar near al-Musil, ten gunmen were killed including four soldiers in a booby trapped car explosion that went off prematurely in that city where the American and Iraqi soldiers are launching a joint security operation.
