Iranian paper warns against Israeli threats to storm al-Aqsa mosque

The Iranian newspaper of 'Jomhouri-Eslami' warned against "catastrophic consequences" which will result from carrying out threats launched by Israeli extremists to violate sanctity of al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
"These practices constitute a threat to all religions and holy places ... we call upon all Islamic and Arab countries and the international organizations to protect the sacred places in Jerusalem and other holy lands in the occupied Palestinian territories," the paper said in a commentary published Tuesday.
