One Bulgarian soldier killed by American bullets

The Bulgarian defense minister Nicola Safinarov said on Monday that the Bulgarian soldier who was killed on Friday in Iraq was killed by what he described "friendly fire" opened by American soldiers.
By that the Bulgarian minister confirmed information that came from an anonymous source issued on Monday on a website for the Bulgarian army, saying that soldier Gardy Gardiv was killed by the fire of the American army.
Gardiv is the 8th Bulgarian soldier out of 450 Bulgarian soldiers working in Iraq under the command of the Polish leadership.
