British Sky News report on Ma'alula

British "Sky News" TV Channel broadcast on Thursday a report from the Syrian historical town of Ma'alula, about 40 km to the north of Damascus, in which it showed the unique tourist and constructional face of the town, and the religious Islamic - Christian tolerance in Syria.
The report indicated that people in ancient Ma'alula still speak the Aramaic language, the language of Jesus Christ, showing the efforts exerted in Syria to revive this language which prevailed Bilad al-Sham ( ancient Syria ) for decades.
The Channel made several interviews with citizens from Ma'alula, stressing the originality of civilizations Syria witnessed throughout history.
