Seale and the war on Iraq
Iraq-USA, Politics, 9/29/2004
British famous writer and journalist Patrick Seale stressed that the U.S. war in Iraq was on behalf of Israel, adding that pro-Israel neoconservatives inside the American administration supported the war on Iraq.
In an article published Tuesday in Qatari al-Watan newspaper, Seale pointed out that the American renowned historian Arthur Schlesinger asserted that the U.S. concerted stances with Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is one of the most important reason for the Arab hatred to the U.S.A. Seale quoted Schlesinger as saying that the plan of American Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz, the main engineer for the war on Iraq, focused on the centrality of Israel and securing American security and interests.
Seale indicated that Israel's interest and strategic aim from the war on Iraq is to destroy Iraq's power, warning all the Arabs against the Israeli schemes.
Seale said that the U.S. has been locked in the Iraqi trap, wondering when and how it will get out of it.
