Sources in the Egyptian police announced that seven Palestinians surrendered to the local authorities in Rafah city to the south of Gaza after they were besieged for 36 hours after they resorted to a farm, threatening to blow up bombs.

The seven Palestinians sneaked via the fence which separates between the Palestinian and Egyptian borders in Gaza.

The Egyptian police which assumes security in the region monitored their moves and fire was exchanged after which the Palestinians resorted to one farm, according to the same source. The police besieged the farm demanding the Palestinians via loudspeakers to surrender, then the armed men stressed that they have large amounts of weapons and explosives and threatened to use them if they are attacked.
