One Israeli raid fails in assassinating two activists from Fatah
Palestine-Israel, Military, 8/31/2004
Palestinian security sources and eye witnesses said that two of al-Aqsa martyrs groups of the Fatah movement survived a raid carried out by a helicopter for the Israeli occupation forces that targeted their car in Jenin to the North of the West Bank.
The sources explained that the missile which was fired by the helicopter missed the car and fell on a neighboring house and this resulted in setting a blaze in the house and wounding female child Yara Mansour Abed ( nine year old).
On the other hand, Jibril al-Rajjoub, the advisor of the Palestinian President for national security affairs, denied the involvement of the Islamic resistance movement ( Hamas) in the assassination attempt of the intelligence director Maj. Gen. Tareq Abu Rajab last Wednesday in Gaza.
