Two gunmen, one policeman killed in clashes to the east of Riyadh

Saudi Arabian security sources said that one of the two gunmen who were killed in a chasing with the police in al-Quds quarters to the east of Riyadh is Abdullah Muhammad Rashad al-Rashoud, wanted number 22, who is considered the most dangerous in the list of the 26- wanted Saudis.

The sources described al-Rashoud as the "religious advisor " of the so called al-Qaida organization in the Arab Peninsula, nothing that he was carrying " an explosive belt during the clashes but it did not blow up.

Witnesses and security sources said that two suspected persons of being Islamist extremists and one Saudi policeman were killed in a fire exchange in a quarter to the east of Riyadh yesterday, Wednesday.

They added that two other persons were at least injured but it was not clear whether they were police member or gunmen.

Witnesses said that large number of security men blocked the quarters and chased three cars ridden by the gunmen who are suspected as wanted.
