Israeli raids against al-Shuja'eyah, al-Zeiotoun

Two Palestinians, one is a 12 year old child were killed and other three injured in an Israeli helicopter raiding of a car in al-Shuja'eyah quarters to the east of Gaza.
News reports said that the car was empty and all the victims are passersby. Each of Youssef Hijazi and Ramy Muhammad Jafaar ( 12 and 16 year old) after they were hit by the shelling of a missile fired by the helicopter at the car.
One Israeli military group alleged that the raid was targeting a group of armed Palestinians who were preparing to attack Israeli soldiers. The raid came few hours after the killing of 6 Israeli soldiers in an attack alleged by al-Qassam group, the military wing of the Islamic resistance movement ( Hamas) and al-Quds group, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement.
One Israeli military spokesman said that the 6 soldiers are members in the engineering weapons and they were in soldiers vehicle when they were exposed to a bomb explosion resulted in killing them.
The Israeli vehicle was converted into a piece of fire. The Israeli sources admitted that the vehicle was carrying explosives to be used in bombarding workshops used by Palestinians to manufacture al-Qassam missiles which are used by members of the Hamas members in hitting the Jewish settlements in Gaza and towns inside the green line.
Al-Aqsa martyrs groups of the Fatah movement and al-Quds groups, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad said they have the bodies of three Israeli soldiers and the two sides stressed that they have conditions in order to hand them over to Israel.
This explosion came during incursion of the Israeli occupation forces in al-Zeitoun quarters, backed by helicopters, tanks and armored vehicles.
News reports in Gaza said that the result of the Israeli incursion in al-Zeitoun quarters was five killed Palestinians including a five- year old child and at least 100 wounded, 15 of them are in critical health conditions.
Al-Zeitoun quarters was exposed to artillery and air bombardment while Israeli snipers took the roofs of buildings and clashes took place between resistance men who strongly retaliated the occupation soldiers and used explosives to obstruct their progress.
The news also said that a huge explosion took place in Salah Eddine street in al-Zeitoun quarters where smoke columns were seen.
Immediately, the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon called on the mini Israeli security cabinet for an urgent meeting yesterday evening and abrogated all meetings listed on his agenda in order to discuss the answer to the killing of the 6 soldiers.
Meantime, the chairman of the defense and foreign affairs committee in the Israeli Knesset said that the Israeli soldiers should not be hesitant to open fire at armed Palestinians, even they were among a group of civilians.
