Morocco's Arazi ousted at 1st round of Monte-Carlo tennis tournament

Moroccan tennisman Hicham Arazi was ousted this Monday at the first round of the Monte Carlo Masters tennis tournament, worth 2.4 million Euro. Arazi was beaten by German Nicolas Kiefer in two straight sets (6-3, 6-3).
The first day of the contest was fatal for two top seeds: Czech Jiri Novak was topped by US Taylor Dent (6-4, 7-5) and Dutch Sjeng Schalken was rolled out by Argentine Agustin Calleri (6-1, 6-3).
