Tlass- inspects Syrian army formations working in Lebanon

Under the directives of President Bashar al-Assad, Commander in Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, and Minister of Defense, 1st Lt. Gen. Mustafa Tlass visited a fighting formations in Lebanon, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

In his address to the fighters, Tlass underlined the standing deep relations between Syria and Lebanon that make both states "stand hand in hand against the Zionist ambitions" that are targeting both states in particular and the Arab region in general.

He stressed Syria's commitment to its policy under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad pointing out that Syria's stances have been clearly been manifested through the diplomatic activity of Syria on regional and international levels, and through its stance by the Iraqi and Palestinian people in order to restore their rights.
