Saudi Fatwa forbids terrorism

The council of the commission of senior scholars in Saudi Arabia issued a Fatwa (religious announcement) condemning the explosions that took place recently in the Kingdom and called on the Saudi citizens to cooperate with the security authorities to eliminating the armed groups.

The Fatwa which was issued on Saturday vowed support for the measures taken by the government to "avert seduction from the home of Muslims," and considered the explosions that took place recently in Riyadh as " criminal acts," rather than "Jihad (struggle) for the sake of the God." The commission called for trying those who issue Fatwas supporting the explosions.

The Fatwa also warned citizens not to hide information on members of this group ( terrorists) or giving them resort and considered that as "greatest sin." The council also called on the clergy to perform their duty in guiding people on this matter.
