Three Palestinians shot, Israel demolish homes
Palestine-Israel, Military, 1/16/2003

The occupied Arab territories yesterday witnessed another day of Israeli killing, destruction and confiscation of more lands. Three Palestinians were killed yesterday by the Israeli forces. They are Hazaa Shedid, a student at a school in Ar'ar village, Muhey eddine Hamra ( 16 year old) from Toulkarem, and Yahya Rakkana (44 years old) from Qabatya.

News reports said that most of the besieged Palestinian cities witnessed campaigns of detention and indiscriminant fire against the Palestinians and their houses, and that the detention targeted 31 Palestinians in Bethlehem, Nablus, Ramullah Jenin, Qabatyah and Toulkarem on charges of resisting occupation.

Meantime the Israeli forces demolished the houses of the Palestinian Ala Abbasi in Abu Tur, and blocked the entries of three houses in Raas al-Amoud and Salwan as a step before confiscating them.

The news reports also indicated that the Israeli forces which broke into Qabatya were backed by helicopters in demolishing the houses, and this resulted in wounding several Palestinians, adding that the cities of the West Bank started to suffer a drastic water, medicine, and food supplies crisis.
