High dam electricity generators to be renovated

Egypt's Ministry of Electricity is studying a number of offers by international companies from Japan, US and Europe to renovate and replace 12 electricity generators at the High Dam power station. Two generators will be replaced at a time, whereas the ten others will remain on duty so that development plans should not be at all affected.

The High Dam station is a good example of clean power generation in Egypt, he added.
