Mubarak to Israeli president: A Knight Without A Horse not against Judaism or Israel
Egypt-Israel, Politics, 11/28/2002
The Israeli daily Yediot Ahronot disclosed the latest message by President Mubarak to Israeli President Moshe Katzav, where Mubarak voiced difference in opinion with Katzav on the TV series, as the latter considered it anti-Semitic.
ΚΚΚ The newspaper stated that President Mubarak said: "I have looked deeply in your remarks. Allow me to say that the TV series does not rely on "The Protocols Of Elder Sons Of Zion" and does not try to prove their authenticity.
ΚΚΚ I am quite sure that if you watched the series yourself you will come to the fact that it is void of any bad contents that attack Judaism or the state of Israel."
ΚΚΚ Mubarak's message was an answer to a letter by Katzav calling the Egyptian President to find a solution for that TV series as it incites hatred against Israel.
ΚΚΚ President Mubarak said: "The series is no more than an artistic comment on the history of Egypt and the region at large produced and directed in accordance with Egyptian laws."
ΚΚΚ Mubarak affirmed that Egypt does not allow any contents that bear racial implications. The Egyptian people rejects any anti-Semitic activity being themselves in fact Semitic people.
