Israel shoots Palestinian child, destroys university facilities

Two Palestinians were shot yesterday at dawn in a house in a camp in Deir al-Balah, Gaza after the Israeli forces fired several shells against some houses and destroyed them completely.
The Israeli radio said that an Israeli force backed by a tank and a bulldozer cordoned the house of one Palestinian in Deir al-Balah after he had resorted to the house and demolished the house. Two Palestinians were murdered inside the house. The Israeli side claimed the two Palestinians were trying to reach Kfar Daroum settlement.
Meantime, the Palestinian youth Hazem al-Roumi (33 year old) was killed as a result of a shell explosion in his house in Ola town to the north of Toulkarem. The Palestinian child Omar al-Qadami died in Toulkarem because of his wounds when the Israeli forces opened fire at him at an Israel check point.
Meantime, the Israeli forces launched a vast detention campaign targeting scores of the citizens of Toulkarem, Jenin, Ramullah, Nablus and Qalandia and destroyed the house of the Palestinian Akram al-Hneidi -- one of the executor of Hebron operation which resulted in killing 12 Israeli military men.
One Israeli force broke into Hebron university and confiscated the electronic equipment and scientific documents and destroyed the offices of the teaching staff and burnt the furniture of the sciences faculty under the pretext that the executors of al-Khalil operation studies at that university.
Meantime, the Israeli foreign minister Benjamin Netanyahu renewed his total rejection to the foundation of the Palestinian state. He stressed his rejection to dismantle the settlements. He added that in case he is elected as a chairman of the Likud party and a prime minister, he will not pursue the policy of the current government, who shows readiness to negotiate on founding a Palestinian state.
Netanyahu stressed he will not agree to the foundation of the Palestinian state, nor recognize the international laws concerning the "right of return" for the Palestinians or Israel's withdrawal from the lands it had occupied in 1967. He called for the expulsion of the Palestinian Authority and to openly declare the cancellation of agreements finalized with the Palestinians.
On the other hand, and before assuming the presidency of the Israeli Labor party officially, Amram Matinsagh who won the party elections for the party's presidency started dismantling the internal wings and factions which opposed him.
The secretariat of the Israeli Labor party announced officially yesterday results of the internal elections which took place on Tuesday.
It said that Matsinagh won the elections by 54% of the vote, while Benyamin Ben Eliezer received 38% and Haem Ramon 7%.
