Al-Rai al-Aam: Moussa stresses that Jerusalem is an Arab city

The secretary general of the Arab league Amre Mousa has stressed the adherence of the Palestinians and the Arabs to the city of Jerusalem as an Arab city and to their national legitimate and historical rights.
In a statement issued yesterday by the Kuwaiti daily al-Rai al-Aam, Mousa said that the Arabs will not accept peace sought by Israel nor to concede their historical rights.
He expressed reservations on the "route map" proposed by the Quartet committee which includes the US, the UN, the European Union and Russia towards solving the Palestinian issue.
