Israel kills 14 Palestinians, 100 wounded in Khan Younis

The Israeli forces on Monday committed a new carnage against the Palestinians which claimed the life of 14 and wounding other 100 when the Israeli tanks backed by Apache planes broke into the city of Khan Younis on three axes on Monday opening its artillery and machine guns fire at populated houses.

Palestinian medical sources said that the Palestinian Salah al-Zaqzouq ( 16 year old) was killed when the Israeli forces opened fire at Palestinian demonstrators who were throwing stones at positions for the Israeli sources near a settlement in Khan Younis. Muhammad Farhan ( 14 year old) was hit by a fatal bullet and the Israeli bombardment targeted Nasser hospital in Khan Younis targeting the wounded.

The Palestinian youth Abdullah Sabah ( 16 year old) was killed by the Israeli plane missiles which wounded several citizens who were in the streets of the city.

The sources stressed that the majority of the killed and wounded Palestinians are women and children and many of the wounded are in critical health conditions.

More than 15,000 Palestinian gathered before Nasser hospital in Khan Younis to eulogize the killed Palestinians and chanted slogans calling for continued Intifada and resistance until the occupation is ended.

In the West Bank, the Israeli forces demolished the houses of five Palestinians in Ya'bud town in Jenin district and broke into al-Shweikah village in Toulkarem, arrested seven citizens. Deir Mashghal town in Ramullah was exposed to a similar operation while three shells were dropped at Ghoushe Katiev settlement in Gaza.

Meantime, Israeli military sources said that the operation carried out by the Israeli army against the Palestinians of al- Amal quarters in Khan Younis was but one of a series of operations at that level that the Israeli leadership decided to carry out in Gaza until the Palestinian Intifada is totally eliminated.

On the other hand, an Israeli survey uncovered that almost 25% of the Israeli youths prefer to leave Israel ultimately and live permanently in European and American countries. The survey which was carried out by Afraem Ya'er from Tel Aviv university said that most of the Israelis who prefer to leave Israel are aging 18 to 29 year old and constitute an important part of the working labor force and number of the Israeli army.
